St. Jude praised for daughter’s treatment and lifelong friendships
In August 2004 our little girl Sara Grace was diagnosed with ALL (acute lymphocytic leukemia). As you might imagine our world fell apart on that day.
Never would I have thought that one of my children would develop cancer, nor did I want to believe that this had really happened. We were immediately transferred to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and began our two-and-one-half years of chemotherapy and multiple hospital stays.
The staff at St. Jude took us in and helped calm our fears through many rough days ahead.
Through their kindness and support our experience has been life changing.
We have met and made life long friends not only from other families, but from staff at St. Jude.
To all the people who support St. Jude thank you for your support of such a great place. Your donations help save lives every day and I am the proud mother of one of those precious lives.
God has truly blessed us and today our little girl is doing great.
From the bottom of my heart I want to say thank you for all of the acts of kindness shown to our family during this time in our life. May God bless each of you.
