Griffin cleared to play by NCAA Clearinghouse


According to South Panola High School officials, Jeramie Griffin was been approved Friday by the NCAA Clearing House to play collegiate fall football.

Griffin signed to play with the Alabama Crimson Tide in February and said in late May he still plans to attend Alabama. Griffin led South Panola in rushing last year with 1,288 yards and 19 touchdowns and was named the 5A offensive player of the year by the Mississippi Association of Coaches/Magnolia Preps.com
