Grand Opening ceremonies were held last Friday (Oct 14) in Sardis for its newest store: The Eclectic Emporium with Carolyn Whaley and Betsy Handley. The new store opened in the former offices of Dr. Lance Whaley at 116 So. Main Street. Attending the ceremonial ribbon cutting were from left, Duffy Russell, Chris Champion of First Security Bank, Sardis; Susan Mills of Treasurer Loans, Whaley, Penny Hart, Handley, Dale Hart of Panola Partnership, Mayor Billy Russell, Alderman Tommy Rayburn and Sardis Chamber Excecutive Secretary Debbie Fletcher.
