A name included on this list does not indicate that the person is guilty of a crime, only that charges have been brought or the person has been brought and booked into the jail.

August 1
Gaspar Perez Gomes, 406 Park St., Batesville, was arrested and charged with reckless driving, suspended driver’s license and DUI. The case will be heard in Sardis Municipal Court.
LeKendrick Dewayne Smith, 120 Cherry St., Clarksdale, was arrested and charged with enticement of a minor to meet for sexual purposes. The case will be heard in Justice and Circuit Courts.
Kevin Vernard Dunn Jr., 202 West Lee St., Sardis, was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a felon. The case will be heard in Circuit Court.
Tavares Daquan Lee, 130 Audrey Rd., Courtland, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, littering and careless driving. The case will be heard in Justice Court.
Demarcus Wilson, 109 Percyville St., Sardis, was arrested and charged with public drunk and two counts of carrying a concealed weapon by a felon. The case will be heard in Sardis Municipal Court.
James McBrayer, 15338 Old Panola Rd., Como, was arrested and charged with disturbance of a family. The case will be heard in Justice Court.
David Lee Flowers, 204 Claude St., Batesville, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and improper equipment. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.

August 2
Dennis James Theilen, 407 Railroad St., Courtland, was arrested and charged with DUI-second, careless driving and possession of parphernalia. The case will be heard in Justice Court.
Demetric D. Heafner, 799 Belmont Rd., Sardis, was arrested and charged with simple assault. The case will be heard in Justice Court.
William Bennett Tubbs, 190 WW Scott Rd., Batesville, is a state inmate.

August 3
James E. Wright, 274 Jones Ext., Batesville, was arrested and charged with no driver’s license, simple possession and DUI. The case will be heard in Justice Court.
Patricia Lomax Gattis, 127 Parkway Cove W., Hernando, was arrested and charged with public drunk. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.
James Calvin Mosley Jr., 1031 Bethlehem Road, Batesville, plead to armed robbery and his bail revoked. The case will be heard in Circuit Court.
Michelle Lynn Johnson, 724 River Road, Batesville, was arrested and charged with contempt of court. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.
August 4
Gary Scott Hester, 214 Broad St., Batesville, was arrested and charged with public drunk and disorderly conduct. The case will be heard in Justice Court.
Shaquesha S. Roberson, 201 Ridge Rd., Courtland, has a hold for MDOC.
Tyrone Ellis, 109 Everett St., Batesville, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.

John William Fix III, 53 County Rd. 475, Water Valley, was arrested and charged with DUI and possession of controlled substance. He also has a hold. The case will be heard in Justice Court.
