Batesville Believas  shutout competition over weekend

The Batesville Allstar Believas took home first place in the 12-and-under Batesville Bash at J.P. Hudson this weekend.
Believas 6, Hernando 2
Hernando scored their only two runs in the first inning. Rayne Rippee scored the first run after hitting a double. Avery Seay scored the second run in the second. The Believas scored four runs in the third as Gracie Tutor, Jordan Hueser, Meleah Pogue and Rayne Rippee reached the plate.
Believas 5, Senatobia 3
Zoey Rippee got on base with a double and scored on a triple by Rayne. Landry scored after walking to first giving the Believas 3 runs in the first. Senatobia scored their first run in the second and went on to score their last two runs in the third. The Believas scored their last two runs after two singles by Tutor and Pogue
Believas 15, Ripley 0
The Believas shut out Ripley scoring the maximum five runs in the first three innings. Seay pitched a no hitter, striking out five of the 12 batters faced.
Believas 11, Senatobia 0
Batesville Believas remained undefeated in their championship game against Senatobia.
The Believas scored five runs in the first inning as three players walked, one was hit by a pitch, Rayne tripled to center, and Gracie Burchfield doubled to left.
Tutor and Layla Davis scored two runs in the second, followed by Seay and Burchfield scoring two runs in the third.
In the final inning, Zoey and Rayne scored sealing the win for the Batesville Believas.
In a day of shutouts for the Believas, they were named first place in the Bash.
