South Panola basketball will start district tournament play tonight in Hernando.
In Region 2-6A, the No. 4 seeded South Panola boys will take on Columbus at 5:30 p.m. and the No. 3 seeded South Panola girls will take on Tupelo at 7 p.m.
In other action, Columbus and Hernando girls will square off at 4 p.m. and Tupelo and Hernando boys will play at 8:30 p.m.
The girls’ consolation game will be played Friday at 4 p.m. between the two losing teams and the championship is at 7 p.m. between the two winning teams.
The boys’ consolation game is at 5:30 p.m. and the championship at 8:30 p.m.
