Police report includes domestic violence, theft

Batesville Police officers were called to a domestic violence incident, an alleged shoplifting and burglary according to weekend incident reports furnished by BPD Captain Jimmy McCloud.
Lieutenant John Miller’s report of Friday, August 28 revealed a domestic violence call on Georgia Street.
The following day’s incident reports included a report of shoplifting at Sears in Patrolman Justin Johnson’s report and a burglary/grand larceny on Claude Street according to Patrolman Nick Johnson’s report. The Claude Street burglary occurred between 6:50 p.m. Friday and 1:10 a.m. Saturday.
No other details were available from the incident reports.
