Donna Marie Phillips, 37, pleaded guilty Monday to statutory rape prior to trial proceedings that were also scheduled for Monday for Circuit Court in Batesville.

Phillips and Brian Thomas Phillips, whose address was listed at 718 Pine Lake Drive, Batesville in Panola Jail log in December, were then both charged with 12 counts, including statutory rape, sexual battery and conspiracy.

Donna Phillips is expected to be sentenced today, and proceedings for Brian Thomas Phillips will be determined at that time, according a deputy circuit clerk.

According to court documents she could face a maximum of 30 years imprisonment and $10,000 fine at sentencing.
