Today’s issue is the last chance to obtain a ballot for Panola County’s “Best of the Best” contest and the last day to place your ballot into one of five boxes according to The Panolian’s Advertising manager Margaret Buntin.

Voters who include their name, address and phone number are eligible for $100 shopping spree.
Readers are encouraged to get ballots and vote for the favorite business, professional and service and deposit those ballots in boxes located in Mr. Jiffy (James Street or Highway 6 West locations), Piggly Wiggly, Save-A-Lot or here at The Panolian said editor Rupert Howell.

Best of the Best awards are often successfully used in advertising and promoting local businesses to the masses who may not be familiar with a particular business or service.
This is also an opportunity for managers and business owners to promote their employees and businesses and a great way for faithful customers to show appreciation to their favorite businesses said Howell.

“When traveling it’s always reassuring to see a ‘best of’ plaque on a restaurant wall or store where you’ve stopped to do business. It’s good to know that locals think well of the place where you’ve chosen to stop and do business,” Howell continued.

Winners in each category receive a certificate suitable for framing.
