SARDIS–Homer H. Brower, 87, died February 6, 2015 at Yalobusha General Hospital in Water Valley.

Born October 21, 1927 to the late Clinton and Betty Black Brower in Crowder, Mr. Brower was a retired mechanic from John Deere for over 45 years. He was a member of the Batesville Lions Club for 20 years. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking. He was a  member of Black Jack Presbyterian Church.

Funeral services were February 8 at Wells Funeral Home. The Rev. Dick Hill officiated. Interment was at Black Jack Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Katherine Rodgers Brower of Sardis; three sons, Howard Brower of Batesville, Robert Brower of Abbeville, John Rodgers of Batesville; one daughter, Diane Brower Parker of Bacliff, Texas; one sister; Betty Marie Murphree of Pontotoc, and 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
