William Pride III (right) accepts the Dan Maddox Man of the Year Award on behalf of his father, William Pride Jr., at last Saturday’s Crystal Ball benefitting the Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi. Presenting the award to recognize Pride’s service to his community was Tom Pittman (left), president of the CFNM. Also on hand for the presentation at the Southaven Arena  was Cynthia Gleeton (center), daughter of the honoree.
Pride, whose health prevented him from accepting the award in person, is owner of Pride Hyundai and founder of the Panola County Community Foundation.
 He was back on the job this week.
