The Bulldogs 7-8 year old team had no problem, handing the Tallahatchie Youth League a 22-0 shutout.

The first score came when D’Marvin Perteet took the ball 70 yards for a touchdown and the two point conversion was good by Jaiden McKinney for the 8-0 lead.

McKinney followed a few minutes later with a three-yard touchdown to give the Bulldogs a 14-0 halftime lead as the two-point conversion failed.

The last touchdown came late in the fourth quarter when McKinney scored on a 28-yard run. The two point conversion by Ethan James Moore was good for the 22-0 lead.

Coaching the team were Cleveland Wright, Cameron Lofton and Mike McKinney.

In other Bulldog action the 9-and-10-year-old team lost a 16-12 heart breaker to West Tallahatchie. The Bulldogs were up 12-8 with 20 seconds left in the game and West Tallahatchie scored and added the two point conversion for the 16-12 lead. The Bulldogs tried to make a comeback but were picked off by West Tallahatchie with 15 seconds left in the game.

The 11-12 year old team played for second place and the chance to advance to the championship but was shutout 30-0 by West Tallahatchie. Playing for that championship game was cross town rivalries TYL and West Tallahatchie.
