Riley Campbell, 7, won the Overton Park Open Jr. Championship for the third straight year with a two-day eight hole score of 40 strokes.

He also brought home the 1st place trophy from Southaven Jr. Golf Tournament for the second straight year. The first place was decided by a three-way sudden death playoff.

He also played six of eight tournaments in Jackson for this region of the U.S. Kids Golf Spring Tour. He won four championships and two 2nd places, so they named him “Player of the year” in his division. Now, he has a total of nine Championships and two second places.  In his last three tournaments, Riley averaged five strokes per hole.

He has never been given a single professional lesson, according to his mother, Nikki Campbell.

Riley is a third grade student at Pope Elementary school.
