While the North Delta football team did not capture a state football championship in 2011, the Green Wave  did however bring home a number of post season awards at the fall sports banquet Thursday night.

It was an emotionally choked event as the school said good-bye to three-year head football coach Dan Werner, who left to take an assistant coach position at Ole Miss. His successor was named from within its own ranks, Brandon Ciaramitaro, who served as the offensive/defensive line coach.
