Lady Wave came close to a basketball shutout

By Brad Greer

Shutting out your opponent in baseball or football is quite common, but doing the same on the basketball court  is unheard of.

The North Delta Lady Green Wave almost pulled off the rare feat by holding Marvell, Ark. to a pair of late second half field goals in a 56-8 drubbing at the Magnolia Heights Pre-season Tournament Tuesday night in Senatobia.
