Sportsman’s Extravaganza earns praise

To the Editor:

I attended the recent first-ever North Mississippi Sportsman’s Extravaganza held at the Batesville Civic Center on March 12.

I want to compliment all of the planners and organizers for their hard work which resulted an awesome day of events and to also congratulate them on a successful day.

This was certainly an event of good family fun. The admission price was reasonable and affordable. The activities were well planned to offer something for all ages.

The vendors offered an array of sellable items that caught the eye of my shopping wife, who accompanied me. The seminar speakers were interesting. The music presented by Souls for Christ was a gift of joy for all to hear.

Keynote speaker, Troy Ruiz, was a real blessing as he shared stories from his career and his testimony.

My hat is off to all- sponsors, donators, churches and workers. If you missed it, you missed a good day. I hope this event is repeated next year.

Sincerely,
Ronnie Taylor
