Three Risqué Business fund-raisers pending, members urge your support

I am writing this letter to encourage the community to support the upcoming fund-raiser events planned for South Panola High School’s Risqué Business team.  As you know, Risqué Business has been a group of dramatic performers with a message to young students discouraging drug and alcohol use, and encouraging good decisions.

We have been an active group for many years and have performed all over the United States.  This year we have been invited to attend a Safety Conference in Hawaii. (No school funds will be used for this trip.) This is a great honor and an opportunity to spread our message nationally.

In the coming weeks Risqué Business Booster Club has several events scheduled and we hope that we will get great community support as always.  On Thursday, March 3 we will have a Community Night at the Batesville Jr. High Auditorium at 7 p.m.  We invite all church youth groups as well as any others to attend.  We will be taking $3 per person for this event.

On Friday, March 11 we will sponsor a Hoop-It-Up in-school basketball game at Batesville Jr. High School.  All Jr. High students will be able to attend.

Lastly, we will sponsor a community Hoop-It-Up basketball game.  The date has not been set yet but we will let this paper know as soon as we set the date.

Thank you for the support this community has always given Risqué Business and for your future support.

Thank you,
