Candidate story gave Pride wrong party affiliation

 

An election story in Feb. 4 edition of The Panolian reported, incorrectly, that District 2 supervisor candidate William Pride ran as a Republican candidate in the 2009 special election. The special election did not include party affiliations.

Pride is seeking the Democratic nomination in the August 2 party primary.

The Panolian regrets the error.
