SP has its biggest signing day in school history

South Panola High School experienced its biggest signing day in school history Wednesday morning as 15 players from the 2011 class signed letters of intent to play college football.  

     The biggest news was wide receiver Nick Brassell who waited until the last minute to sign with the University of Mississippi. Brassell had verbally committed earlier with Mississippi State University but changed his mind. Also signing with the University was Taylor Rotenberry.

    Kendrick Market stuck to his word and stayed with his Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Qyen Griffin signed with the Rajun Cajuns of Louisiana Lafayette.

   Northwest Community College received six players to add to their football program: Al Hentz, Thomas Campbell, Marcus Henry, Austin Douglas, Kenyahti McMurry, and Deshondrick Hines.

   Signing to play at Northeast Community College were Timothy Gleaton, Donnell Chapman, Dennis Draper, Carlton Howard and Gregdrecus Leland.
