CRENSHAW– Malcom Gary Glover, 60, died Saturday, October 16, 2010, at St. Francis Hospital.

Services were Monday at Kimbro Funeral Home. Rev. Chad Phelan officiated. Burial was in Longtown Cemetery. Kimbro Funeral Home had charge.

Glover, born March 6, 1950, to the late Luther Malcom and Susie Allred Glover, was in the U.S. Navy and was a Baptist.

Survivors include: one son, Matthew Gary Glover of Jackson; two sisters, Patricia Ann Wasson of Springfield, Va. and Glenda Boberg of Senatobia; three brothers, Charles Lynn Glover and Jimmie W. Glover, both of Crenshaw and Bobby J. Glover of Sarah.
Memorials may be made to Baptist Children’s Village.

Donald “Don” Edward Westbrook

OAKLAND– Donald “Don” Edward Westbrook, 78, died Sunday, October 17, 2010, at Tri-Lakes Medical Center.

Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Dickins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Batesville Magnolia Cemetery. Ricky Redd and Hal Johnson will officiate.

Westbrook, born  to the late Arthur and Lillian Westbrook, was retired from Bell South with 39 1/2 years. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard and was a member of Sylvia Rena Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Donnie Westbrook and Charlie Westbrook.

Survivors include: his wife, Lily Loraine Smith Parrish Westbrook; two daughters, Laura Herron of Batesville and Sandra McGregor of Trevevant, Tenn.; three sons, Robert Arthur Westbrook of Indiana, Tommy Parrish of Batesville, and Gerald Parrish of Sardis;  one sister, Betty Ann Westbrook of San Antonio, Texas; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to Immanuel Baptist Church 3319 Curtis Rd, Batesville, Miss. 38606. 

Bobbye Burns Williams

COURTLAND– Bobbye Burns Williams, 83, died Thursday, October 14 at Tri-Lakes Medical Center.

Services were Saturday at  Independence Presbyterian Church in Courtland. Rev. Doug Sullivan Gonzales, Rev. John Case and Rev. Martin Case officiated. Dickins Funeral Home had charge.

 Williams was a homemaker and worked 23 years at Riteway Cleaners. She was a member of Independence Presbyterian Church and a former leader for Explorer’s Bible Study.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Willard P. Williams; two daughters Greta Raigins of Prairie and  Willa Bohannon of Germantown, Tenn.; two  sisters,  Betty Jo Randolph and Tommye Dean Benson of Courtland and  five grand  children and two great grandchildren.  She is preceded  in death by both parents  Alonzo and Myrtle Burns and  one sister Virginia Campbell.

Memorials may be sent to Independence Presbyterian Church or charity of the donor’s choice.
