Alfreda Price Cannon

OXFORD–Alfreda Price Cannon, 59, died Friday, September 24, 2010. She worked at Golden Living Center in Batesville for many years.

Services were incomplete at press time. Serenity-Martin Funeral Home in Oxford has charge of arrangements. Full obituary information will be in Friday’s edition of The Panolian.

Shannon Todd

LAMBERT–Shannon Todd, 46, died Wednesday, September 22, 2010, at his residence. He was the husband of Ellen Walters Todd of Batesville.

Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Faith Baptist Church in Lambert. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale has charge of arrangements.

Todd was a self-employed painter.

Survivors along with his wife include: two daughters, Katie Jenkins and her husband, Jeremy of Lambert and Angel Todd of Batesville; one son, Nicholas Todd of Norfolk, Va.; three sisters, Bonnie Mitchell of Lambert, Penny Jennings of Starkville and Lisa Funderburk of Ortonville, Minn.; three brothers, David Pruett of Crowder, Jamie Roberson of  Batesville and John Roberson of Clinton, Ill.; his step-father, Johnny Roberson of Marks; his aunt, Jackie Cox of Lambert and two grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to the Kidney Foundation.
