Batesville police submitted a single incident report, a robbery, from the most recent weekend in the municipality.
The report from BPD Lt. Ruby Myers came from Patton Lane park, where a juvenile reported that he was robbed after a game of dice.
The name of the youth was redacted in the report.
The 17-year-old was “counting his money” when two men “snatched” 20 dollars from him and ran.
The robbers ran to a nearby apartment building.
The incident took place around 1 a.m. according to the incident report.
Myers, in her report, advised the youth’s mother to file charges if the robbers were located.
Weekend traffic stops yielded an arrest for expired drivers license and giving false information, and an arrest for a contempt of court warrant.
Marvin Brownlee was arrested at Tri-Lakes Medical Center for public drunkenness.
