An online only estate sale will be held this week for items from the former home of the Eli Manning family. In addition to artwork, jewelry, and home furnishings, memorabilia from his careers as quarterback at Ole Miss and the NY Giants will be sold.
The Mannings sold the Turnberry Court home last month to Richard and Diane Scruggs after about four years on the market.
Robison-Finch Estate Sales of Memphis is holding the event.. To access the sale, visit www.estatesales.net/MS/Oxford. There will be a link with Eli Manning’s name to send potential buyers to pages with photos and descriptions of the items up for sale.
Originally slated to take place at the house, Robison-Finch changed the sale to an online, telephone sale this week.
“Due to the overwhelming interest and traffic that would come through the neighborhood, it has been decided that it would be in the best interest to move the sale online,” said Ken Robison.
On Thursday, May 30, prices for each item will go up on the website. At 10 a.m. on Friday, persons interested in purchasing any of the items will call the phone number listed on the site.
“It will be almost like you’re standing in line,” Robison said. “It is first-come, first-serve.”
Robison said all of the contents of the Mannings’ former home are being moved to a facility in Memphis. Those purchasing items will arrange to either pick up their items or have them shipped to their home.
The sale will go through 4 p.m. on Monday, June 3.
