Lydia Lanelle Koenigs, 90, of Sardis, passed away Sunday April 21, 2024, at her home.

Lanelle was born January 30, 1934, in Robinsonville. She enjoyed dancing and later in her life would even dance in her wheelchair.

Lanelle was preceded in death by her husband, Lothar Koenigs, just two short weeks ago.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, John Goodnight (Pauline), of Sardis, Kathy Jean Goodnight, of Florida, three grandchildren, Lindsey Cook, Joshua Goodnight, and Zachary Goodnight, as well as six great-grandchildren.

Lanelle will be laid to rest at Forrest Memorial Park but there are no other services planned at this time.
