Northwest inked another Batesville girl as Hillari Plummer of North Delta signed to play for the Lady Rangers Wednesday.

Plummer will join teammate Linsey Hebert and former South Panola teammate Stormy Robison, now of Lafayette County, as a Lady Ranger.

“They are bringing us all together again,” Plummer said.

Her sister, Haylei, is playing her sophomore season for Northwest.

Plummer said it felt good to sign for Northwest. Her sister playing at Northwest helped convince her to play there. The Plummer sisters were instrumental in leading the South Panola fastpitch softball team to back-to-back state championships.

Northwest head coach Mike Rowan had a lot to do with her decision.

“He is the best coach and the coolest guy,” she said. “We will have a lot of fun.”
