The Friday, January 8 issue of The Panolian went to press a day early, on January 6, to ensure proper delivery due to the forecast of poor weather.

“Bottom line is we want to keep our drivers safe,” said Panolian publisher John Howell Sr. as the newspaper went to press.

The early publication means the Friday issue will be available on news stands as early as Wednesday night.
