The Chicago Bears website announces Derek Pegues of Batesville, cornerback for Mississippi State will be trying out with the team this weekend.

“The rookies will get their first chance to impress Bears coaches on the practice field this weekend,” chicagobears.com said.

Pegues is one of the 25 tryout players.

Radio chat said he is trying out for New York Giants next week but that has not verified on the Giants website as of yet.
