Tina Cooper, 79

Ernestine Walls “Tina” Cooper, 79, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2021, at her daughter’s home in Batesville.
Funeral services were Friday, Aug. 20, in the Martin Wilingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with interment at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville. The family received friends prior to the service.
Tina was born in Crowder Nov. 23, 1942, to the late Dewey and Lucille Birdsong Walls. She was a retired factory worker. First and foremost, Tina loved God. She was a faithful member of Cold Springs United Methodist Church where she had been the treasurer for over 40 years.
Tina had a special love for all animals and also for her large extended family. She was adored by so many! Her faith, strength and positive attitude were her witnesses.
The family left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Suzanne Denley and her son-in-law, Ron of Batesville; her sisters, Carole Martin (Gary), Lois “Katie” Fortner (Perry), and one brother, Tom Walls (Donna), all of Batesville. She also has numerous nieces and nephews which she adored.
Along with her parents, Tina was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Thomas Cooper; four brothers, Bennet Walls, Louie Walls, Ed Walls, Calvin Ray Walls all of Crowder; five sisters, Irene Walls Alexander of Crowder, Betty Walls Hanley of Dallas, Margie Walls Alexander, Judy Walls Berryhill and Mary Ann “Mickey” Thompson, all of Batesville.
