The following actions were taken in Batesville Municipal Court on Wednesday, July 3, with Judge Jay Westfaul presiding.
Emily Brasher, 315 McGowan Dr., Southaven, pleaded guilty to possession of paraphernalia and was fined $383.
Darvin Mitchell, 213 Van Voris St, Batesville, pleaded guilty to false information, no driver’s license, no insurance, expired tag and improper equipment and was fined $1,741.
Takisha Doyle, 149 Victor Rd., Courtland, had a charge of profane language over the telephone dismissed due to lack of prosecution.
Courtney Boyette, 6189 Hwy. 51 S.,Pope, pleaded guilty to simple assault and old fines all totaling $555.
Kajarvis Bradford, 108 Vance St., Batesville, pleaded guilty to simple assault and non-payment of old fines totaling $1,809.
Raynecka T. Howard, 1668 Woodruff Rd., Batesville, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and public drunkenness plus non-payment of old fines totaling $1,178.
Bradley S. Wilkins,124 Jackson St, Batesville, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, but had a stalking charge dismissed. Wilkins was also held in contempt of court, but was credited for 16 days time served for a total fine of $1,212.
Roy C. Davis, 398 Herron Subdivision, Courtland, had a petit larceny charged dismissed.
Kristen H. Bright, 3469 Shiloh Rd., Courtland, was found guilty of shoplifting and was fined $1,146.
Jonathan Griffin,151 Love Ave, Crowder, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and was sentenced to 48 hours in jail.
Ronald Biggers, 6851 Dummy Line Rd., Batesville, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and was fined $1,146.
Candis L. Burke, 27 Ramsey Circle, Sardis, was found guilty of shoplifting and fined $1,146
Crystal G. Sullivan, 92 Green Rd., Pope, was ordered to pay $718 in old fines.
Joshua Ford, 500-C Armstrong St., Batesville, was ordered to pay $1,282 in old fines.
Roy Redwine, 505 China Rd.,Pope, failed to appear on a contempt of court charge.
Patricia G.Russell, 55 Kimes Rd.,Sardis, failed to appear on charges of shoplifting and non-payment of old fines all totaling $3,537. An arrest warrant was issued.
Derrick D. Pride, 6064 Curtis Rd.,Batesville, made his initial appearance on a charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. His case was bound over to the Panola Co. Grand Jury.
Jacques D. Turner, 218 Pearson St., Batesville, made his initial appearance on a charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. His case was bound over to the Panola Co. Grand Jury.
Bobby L. Smalley, Jr. 611 Shiloh Rd. ,Batesville, had grand larceny and burglary charges bound over to the Panola Co. Grand Jury.
In cases set for trial,
Rodriguez C.Johnson, 75 Hill St.,Marks, was found guilty of suspended driver’s license and improper equipment.
Justin B. Perry, 872 Bethlehem Rd., Batesville, was found guilty of open container and possession of paraphernalia and fined $710. Perry had a no proof of insurance charge dismissed and improper equipment remained to the files.
Mason G. Allen, 671 McMinn Rd, Batesville was found guilty of domestic violence and non-payment of old fines totaling $1,536
Justin Mister, 330 Ford Rd., Batesville, had a domestic violence charge dismissed due to lack of prosecution.
Patricia Aguilar, 3019 Waldrop Rd., Batesville, had a simple assault case continued.
In the simple assault trial scheduled for Bradley C. Baker, 111 Central St., Batesville, and Robert Denley, Jr., Hickory Ln., Batesville, Judge Westfaul transferred the case to Judge Charlie Baglan.
