While no individual state titles were won, the North Panola boys track and field team claimed fourth place in five events at the MSHAA Class 3A State track and field meet Saturday at Pearl High School.

Tyler Shorter finished fourth in the long jump with a leap of 20’6” while Roydarious Jackson claimed fourth place in the triple jump at 41 1/2 feet.

The Cougar 4×200 relay team also came in fourth with a time of 1:32.92 while the 4×400 squad garnered a seventh place finish.

Carl Robinson finished sixth with the 200 meter event with a time of 23.19
