Mr. Pollard at 471 Herron Subdivision, Pope, wanted to put a mobile home on his property. He got right-of-way permission from Larry and Linda Mitchell. It is a 2012 double wide from Tupelo. He owns 1.43 acres.

The board voted to pay the bills of $807.17 from the previous month.

Charlotte Capwell is the new Courtland court clerk and has a big job of straightening out many years of reconciliation of receipts and the fines list.

She has the list to go back to 2015. The city is not sure if it will be able to collect fines issued before then.

The board voted to purchase her a phone to take calls for ticket information.

The board meets the first Tuesday of each month. The next meeting is May 7 at 7 p.m. at the Courtland Fire Department.
