Boys take loss on the road

The South Panola Lady Tigers evened their record at 8-8 on the season with a 71-22 romp at Lewisburg Tuesday night.
South Panola’s boys however dropped its fifth straight game with a 71-62 loss to the Patriots. Lewisburg jumped out to a 13-0 lead in the first quarter before the Tigers could get on the board.
Eldridge Brooks led the charge for South Panola (4-8) with18 points. Terry Bishop added 16 points while J’Tavian Hicks garnered 12.
Others reaching the scoring column include Keith Cole with seven while Issac Sturdivant chipped in with four.Jamorris House garnered three and Stanwon Porter with two points.
Lewisburg also were victorious in the junior varsity boys contest 31-14.
South Panola returns home to tonight to take on Oxford with four games starting at 4 p.m before visiting North Panola Saturday with two varsity games scheduled for a 6 p.m tipoff.
