Soccer teams split wtih Cleveland Central

A second half goal by South Panola broke a 1-1 draw at halftime to give the Tiger boys soccer team a 2-1 victory over Cleveland Central Monday.

Patrick Orama and Mohammed Rawaneh scored goals for South Panola who improved to 3-5-1 on the season. Kyle Kimmons and Logan Cossey was credited with assists.

The South Panola Lady Tigers meanwhile battled to a 1-1 draw, their second of the season. Sydney Moore scored the lone goal.

South Panola resumes play Jan. 3 at home against Strayhorn and will host Lafayette County Jan. 5 at 10 a.m with both junior high teams taking the field followed by the varsity contests.
