Six Panola County high school football players garnered post-season honors by being named to the MAC (Mississippi Coaches Association) All-State teams in their respected classes.

South Panola senior offensive lineman Lacory Pegues was selected first team All-State.

Five North Panola Cougars made the list including three on the first team as quarterback K.J. Jefferson was named Class 3A Offensive Player-of-the-Year. Wide receiver Tyler Shorter also made the first team along with defensive end Alex Gross.

Carl Robinson made second team defense while Quaderious Jones was selected second team athlete.
