Sanford’s football camp returns

Former NFL Stars Jamarca Sanford and Michael Oher return to Batesville for their annual football camp.
The camp will be held Saturday, June 16 at South Panola Tiger Field in Robert H. Dunlap Stadium from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The camp is sponsored by Beat the Odds, Inc. a Michael Oher Foundation and Believe in Yourself Foundation by Sanford.
Sanford is a former South Panola player who helped lead South Panola to a couple of state championships. He played at Ole Miss and was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the seventh round in 2008. Oher was a 2008 first round draft pick of the Baltimore Ravens.
They will take the campers through drills and just have fun with them on the field. There will be free giveaways and food.
