Letter to the editor

My sympathy goes out to the family of two year-old My L’esiyah Denise Connor. I think it is in very poor taste of the Panolian to have a picture of the body of a two year-old child on the front page (Friday, Nov.30). My children are my life. I can not imagine seeing this picture, if it were my child.

I realize that house fires seem to be more common these days, but there should be a better way to get the point across than putting a picture like this on the front page. I have seen other pictures of body bags in the paper before, but this one just hit home. I guess it was because I put myself in the place of the parents. My heart and prayers go out to the family and friends of little My L’esiyah.
