South Panola extended its win streak to 64 with a 43-12 routing of the Trezevant Bears of Memphis.
Quarterback David Renfroe led the Tigers completing six of nine passes for 157 yards and one 66-yard touchdown pass to Tig Barksdale. Renfroe also scored on a 5 yard run.
Barksdale had two catches on the night for 109 yards. He also had six carries for 35 yards.
Ten Tigers including Barksdale carried the ball for the team tonight racking up 262 total rushing yards. The Tigers logged 428 total offensive yards.
Leading rusher was Nick Parker for 153 yards on seven carries and two touchdowns.
Mario Nash and JePeri Mitchell relieved Renfroe at quarterback.
The defense also put some scores on the board picking up two fumbles and returning them for touchdowns.
Marvin Burdette returned one fumble and Joshua Shipp the second.
Terrance Pope tackled a Bear runner for a safety late in the first quarter.
Montez Austin intercepted a pass at the beginning of the second quarter.
South Panola led 37-0 at the half.
Friday, South Panola will open up the district season at the new stadium in Horn Lake on Church Road at 7 p.m.
North Panola

North Panola went 2-2 overall, 1-0 district on the season with a 24-20 win over the Holly Springs Hawks in the opening district matchup.
Holly Springs led 20-18 at the half but it was all Cougars in the second half. The Hawks had 150 yards of offense in the first half to North Panola’s 50.
Scoring for the Cougars were Bruce Wilbourn who returned a fumble 35 yards for a touchdown and also made a one-yard touchdown.
Quinn Ellis scored on a 13-yard keeper.
Darius Loveberry returned another fumble for a touchdown.
Friday, North Panola will battle Byhalia in district action on the road at 7 p.m.

North Delta lost a heartbreaker to Marshall Academy 41-20 in non-district action.
The Green Wave will also be on the road next week to take on district foe Tunica Institute at 7:30 p.m.
