Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl and Berl, and one sister, Virginia Wydick. Survivors include his wife, Betty Morrow Aldridge of Courtland; one son, Mark Aldridge and wife Paula of Senatobia; one sister, Bobbie Roberson of Courtland; a host of nieces and nephews; and his grandchildren, Audra Laney and spouse Andrew of Southaven and Kacie Aldridge and best friend Judd Davis of Starkville.
