Hosanna presents dramatic retelling of Easter story

Hosanna Family Worship Center is offering four opportunities beginning Thursday for those who wish to see their multi-media production of The Messiah.
Having witnessed dress rehearsal, this is not a production, but an experience.
Approximately 60 church members of all shapes, sizes, and age use professional-style lighting on five stages on three levels using surround sound and video to deliver a strong message of the Gospel with familiar parables and Bible verses.
The graphic scenes of the crucifixion and the brutal actions on the way to Golgotha while bearing the cross are shown on video using the big screen and are not for the faint of heart as it was not just a death, but a suffering death.
Sound is prerecorded with actors recording their parts and music in the church’s studio. This offers the audience fast moving action with every word and sound clearly heard.
Authentic costumes, surround sound, dramatic lighting, multiple sets and multimedia add to a dramatic performance—one that will not easily be forgotten. There is also a brief personal message at the conclusion by a familiar character.
Hosanna Family Worship Center is located on 586 Hentz Road between Courtland and Pope at the intersection of I-55 at exit 237.
Performances will begin at  7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and at 11 a.m. Sunday.
