Directors of The Grace Place, a ministry located on Petit Street in Batesville, were encouraged by local participation and donations in last Saturday’s Race for Grace 5K.   Organizers of the Race for Grace are pictured with Grace Place executive director Chris Pope (left). They are Austin Gant, William Garner, and C.D. Overton. The three friends put together the 5K as a fundraising effort. Overall winners were Edgar Davison of Oxford (center) finished third overall in the annual Race for Grace 5K held last Saturday. Davison finished the course with a time of 21:31. The other race leaders were Davis Staser (20:21) and Bobby Watts (19:14), both of Pontotoc.  (Glennie Pou)
