Gift of prepared meal was touching

I received a care package, about a month ago, in person. It came by someone I had
never met. What a lovely thing to do with the love of your hands.
The joy of this special gift fed my soul. You supplied an offering to others when it was
unexpected. It was much appreciated because I did not have to prepare the meal, what
a joy, when all I had to do was heat it up.
When the gift was presented, I was told to put it in the freezer which I did. The mother
and daughter came as special guest, to meet my son (Elvage) and daughter (Janel) and
myself whom they only through telephone conversation, but what a gift.
I am so thankful for friendship, at a time when so much love is going astray. With so
much sickness of people closes to you, we forgot about ourselves as we concentrate on
others, that help keep the mind whole and full of faith.
After helping at the hospital in Oxford this past week, I was too tired to cook a meal for
myself. I looked into the freezer and pulled one of my gift packages that I received from
my sweet friend. It was chicken and rice, after heating it up I begin to enjoy the blessing
of one of my gift that was given to me.
It was what I needed, when you are tired and have no desire to cook. This young lady
loves making soup. I did enjoy eating it thank you, mother and daughter (Spencer
family).
Mother Patricia Jackson spoke on priority of obedience, according to scripture From
harming to compassion for one another. Working side by side invites in the holy spirit.
