Richard Alvin Arnold, 68, of Water Valley, passed away on June 13, 2024, in Oxford.

Born in Memphis to James and Irene Arnold, Richard was a kindhearted, outgoing man that never met a stranger.

Richard was a man of many interests. His hobbies included comic books, movies, music, Hotwheels, cars, and just being outdoors. He is remembered for being an incredibly happy man that always found the good in everything and everybody.

His memory will be cherished by his family for being an adoring husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Rosalyn Arnold; daughters, Heather Smith (Fred), Amanda Barnes (Waylon), Angelique Arnold; grandchildren, Josey Smith, Jack Smith, Cassie Barnes, Hunter Barnes, and Will Barnes.

Richard is preceded in death by his brothers, Phillip Arnold, Charles Arnold, and Darrell Arnold.

A visitation for Richard will take place on Tuesday, June 18, from 11 a.m. to. 1 p.m.  at Dickins Funeral Home  in Batesville. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. The graveside service will follow at Forrest Memorial Park (24017 Hwy 6 East, Batesville)
