Frances Kiser Cain, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2024, at Diversicare in Batesville. She was born on October 27, 1940, to the late James Floyd Kiser and Bamer Hughes Kiser in Brewton, AL., and lived a life filled with love, joy and dedication to her family.
A Graveside Service to honor and remember Frances’s life was held on Friday, May 17, at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville.
Frances dedicated her career to being a factory worker but found true happiness in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed crocheting beautiful creations, tending to her yard with care, savoring her daily cup of coffee, and indulging in her favorite soap operas.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Frances was preceded in death by her husband of many years, Austin Cain, along with one son, Danny “Bo” Cain.
She is survived by her daughter Angie Cain Guntharp (Jamie) of Batesville, sons Alvis Cain of Pope, Randy Cain (Toni) of Batesville, Melvin Cain (Lisa) of Batesville. Her memory will be cherished by her sisters Annie Ruth Capps of Brewton, AL., and Helen Davis of Jay, FL. Frances leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through her 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Frances Kiser Cain will forever be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and the love she shared with those around her. May she rest in eternal peace knowing she was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
