Judy Hudson Bland,  77, passed away at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford on Thursday, July 7, 2022. She was the wife of Johnny R. Bland of Marks..

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, July 11, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the family receiving friends beginning at 11 a.m. prior to the service. The interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Batesville. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Bob White, Neal Rayburn, Jack Brooks, Dusty Hudson, Cory Likens and Matthew Vincent.

Judy was born August 24, 1944, in Batesville to the late Almus Floyd and Elnora Christine Everett Hudson. She was a retired educator for over thirty years, having taught at Colonial and Humes High Schools in Memphis,  Delta Academy in Marks,  and the Quitman County School System.

Judy was a member of the West Marks Baptist Church and received great pleasure volunteering for the Marks Project. She loved scrapbooking, but most importantly, she loved spending time and being with her two grandchildren.

Those that will cherish her memory most, will be her husband, Johnny R. Bland of Marks; daughter, Kimberly Bland Wells (Michael) of Batesville; son, Kevin Bland (Jennifer) of Nesbit; three grandchildren, Alli Wells, Hudson Bland and Caroline Strunk.
