Sherry Ann Bolton,  70, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022, at her home in Pope.

A graveside service was held at 11  a.m. on Thursday, May 5,  at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Pope. Rev. Rafford Ables will be officiating the service.

Sherry was born on May 7, 1951 to the late Cecil Earl McMinn and Dorothy Jean Ellis McMinn in Sardis. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of Hosanna Worship Center. Some of her favorite hobbies included reading, sewing, and gardening. Sherry had a special love for all her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them every chance she had. She also had a side kick at home, her dog “Bit”, whom she spent a lot of time with as well.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Wray Bolton.

The family left behind to cherish her sweet memory include her daughter, Buffy Bolton Shields (Gene) of Courtland; her two sons, William Ronnie Bolton (Angela) of Batesville,  and Christopher Bryan Bolton of Pope; two sisters, Brenda Campbell of Pope,  and Barbara Carrera of Crystal Springs; 7 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
