Kathy Jones Gerrard,  72, passed away in the early morning hours of Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at her home in Marks.

The family held a  memorial gathering Friday, April 15,  at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville. A private inurnment was held at Marks Cemetery.

Kathy was born on Jan. 13, 1950 to the late Clifton V. and Kathryn Grant Jones in Memphis. She was originally from a little town in Arkansas called Turrell before residing in Marks and starting a family. Kathy worked in the human resources department for Bunge Corporation in Marks. After her retirement, she spent a lot time doing yard work.

The family left behind to cherish her memory includes her husband of 50 years, Louie Gerrard of Marks; two daughters, Diana Gerrard of Marks, and Lacy Hamilton (Totten) of Lambert; and one grandchild, Deuce Barringer.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Terry Jones and Janet Young.
