Myrtle G. “Jeri” Crunk, 81, passed away Tuesday evening, Oct. 26, 2021, at her home in Pope.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30,  in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. prior to the service. Jeri will be laid to rest at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Pope.

Jeri was born July 10, 1940, to the late John Lee Stilwell and Irene Sawyer Stilwell in Ripley, TN. She was a housekeeper during her lifetime and a member of the former Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. Jeri loved flowers and watching the many hummingbirds she had each year at her home. She enjoyed reading the Bible. Most of all she cherished time spent with her family and particularly her precious grand and great grandchildren.

The loving family she leaves behind includes her husband, Eugene Crunk of Pope; children, Angela Mehan (Jerry) of Pope, Anthony Crunk of Biloxi; grandchildren, Jessica Mehan, Wendy Crunk-Smith (Kevin), Jeremy Crunk (Jennifer); great grandchildren, Mac, Camden, and Tucker Crunk, Cooper Jackson.
