The joy of the Lord is His strength

A man of independent means comes to know and love the Lord at a time where distraction was not the highlight of his life.
During his stint in the military, he heard a call (you will preach my word) in Blackstone, Virginia.
Many young ministers are inconsistent in their walk with Christ when it comes to being a servant of the most high.
Fasting and prayer are his keys to a successful spiritual life with joy down on the inside.
Many wonder why senior pastors are still working in the vineyard. It’s because of the mighty walk and talk of the holy scripture that dwell down on the inside of them.
I believe many are here to continue teaching the young ministers how to survive in this world of unrest, bigotry and hate.
Senior pastors dug deep into the muck and mire in order to bring souls to Christ.
I remember a beautiful young lady who was dedicated to the working of the Lord. She forgot that she was human, who needed rest and care in order to help others – Virginia Hankins-Pollard.
Bishop E. M. Fondren Sr. celebrated his 96th birthday and retirement in a blaze of glory, by baptizing his pastor, Elder Timothy Freeman, along with Evangelist Ella Benson Ford.
Many will always remember the babies, elderly, children and young adults who came seeking the blessing of God through water baptism in Jesus’ name.
Pastor Donna Richmond carried out the service in fine fashion with others on board.
Bishop Fondren started many churches throughout the country from California to Mississippi, many with little or no heat, air or conveniences to make life pleasant. He continues to press his way.
Today’s young ministers should rejoice because they have no idea what giving your all is about. Many would rather quit that press on to the mark of a higher calling.
Bishop E. M. Fondren, Sr. will continue to live life and a blessing, if the need arise.
