The following cases were heard in Batesville Municipal Court Wednesday, Dec. 19, with Judge Charlie Baglan presiding:

Michael Gammel, 239 Hickory Lane, Batesville, paid a $100 fine prior to court on a dog running at large citation.

Lisa A.Holland, 12 Williams St., Holcomb, pleaded no contest to shoplifting and fined $1,146 due in 30 days.

Angela Pollard, 905 Sasse St., Clarksdale, pleaded not guilty to shoplifting and was given a Jan.16 trial date.

Latonya M. Johnson, 174 Otto Sanford Rd., Courtland, paid $1,146 prior to court for shoplifting.

Tierra D. Harris, 205 Leonard St., Batesville, had a charge of simple assault dismissed due to lack of prosecution but was found guilty of old fines totaling $280 due in 30 days.

Shawn Camp, 385 Hartzell Rd., Courtland, had a charge of improper equipment remanded to the files for 60 days but was fined $1,247 for contempt of court.

Michael D. Hurst, 44 4H Club Rd., Batesville, pleaded guilty of contempt of court and ordered to pay $832

Timothy P. Camp, 385 Hartzell, Rd., Courtland, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent bound over prior to court.

Brett A. Kimzey, 1436 Terza Rd., Batesville, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent bound over prior to court.

Jose A.Hernandez, 22926 Hwy. 35, Batesville, had charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent and a firearm possession penalty bound over prior to court.

George L.Todd, Jr, 330 Ford Rd., Batesville, had robbery charges and old fines totaling $3,573 bound over prior to court.

Johnathon Griffin, was found guilty of contempt of court and ordered to stay out of the city limits of Batesville.

Dominique Ware, 321 Hayes St., Batesville, pleaded not guilty to simple domestic violence and given a Jan. 9 court date.

Lorenzo Ward, 321 Hayes St., Batesville, pleaded not guilty to domestic violence and given a Jan. 9 court date.

In cases set for trial,

Dalton Young, 324 Hentz Rd., Pope, failed to appear on charges of unpaid old fines totaling $1,417

Kandren Shaw, 12382 Pope-Water Valley Rd., had charges of false information and no drivers license dismissed but was ordered to pay $911 in old fines.

Marcus Dixon, 204 Arizona St., Batesville, had a DUI case continued.

Bernard Porter, 505 Magnolia St., Sardis, was found guilty of DUI and speeding.

Leonard McGhee, 211 Claude St., Batesville, had a DUI case continued.

Willian White, 120 Dell St., Batesville, had a DUI case continued.
