Following in her big sister’s footsteps, North Delta’s Sarah Johnson signed a national letter of intent to play softball at Northwest Community College Wednesday morning.
Sarah signed almost six years from the date her sister Vickie Johnson signed in 2011. While Sarah was trying to make her choice of schools, Vickie told her that “Coach Rowan is the best.”
Sarah said she did choose Northwest over signing with a Division II college because it was close to home.
Johnson leaves the Northwest program as District MVP and having led her team to back-to-back state appearances.
